Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment over Mothers Day weekend. Don, the owner, is a hoot. The apartment was HUGE and very clean. Only a short walk to the beach. The pool is a walk in with sand at one end. There is a large selection of books and magazines to read, which was great.
Never crowded, huge spacious 3 bedroom apartment have stayed in 2 bedroom as well. Had two other groups with us and their rooms were awesome as well - bit flasher than ours. I have teenage daughters who loved the pool and the fact that not many 'little' kids. Reception staff always helpful and keen to have a laugh with you - nothing is a problem.
Would highly recommend and can't wait to get back here again. Would never stay anywhere else on the Gold Coast. Really enjoyed this place. We had our own two bedroom apartment. However one room was locked which was strange but it didn't matter as I came with my significant other. As most of the apartments are owned by other people you do need to look after the items. It seems people also live there on a permant basis. I took a walk around the pool and was surprised at how open the setting is, I could see into other people's apartments and of course you can hear everything since the sounds bounced off the buildings.Ruketekete Te Mamae
You only get 14 Foxtel channels. Yet you can get normal tv. Other then that it was a great experience and I hope to book into the same apartment next time I am visiting the Gold Coast.
Good for families but that's about all.
Zero privacy if that's a consideration. Great pool, kids and mums and dads seem to like it. The units themselves were ok, not the cleanest place I've ever been there were paddle pops in the freezerbut comfortable enough. Given the options, I probably wouldn't stay again. Stayed for a night on 21 December in a 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms are dated especially the beds but considering we stayed at the height of peak season, we can't complain for the price we paid.It was pretty devastating, and as a result I pretty much totally dropped the ball.

Whakaatu - Presenting: Communicate information, ideas, or narrative, through texts in which visual and verbal features interact to produce particular meanings and effects. In this activity students will hold an award ceremony for their class. Students will discuss and determine the award categories, nominate a partner, vote for the nominees, make certificates and present awards at the award ceremony.
Possible award categories are listed below and should be written on the board. Alternatively, students can suggest their own categories. Place names and nominated categories will be selected by a small group who manage the voting process. This resource sheet has spaces for as many as ten categories. Class competitions could be held to determine winners of categories, such as creating songs or impromptu speeches.

English Well done mate.Does that qualify as a fairly special - if not extraordinary - moment in New Zealand sport?
The All Whites have held world champions Italy to a draw. The English language does not really have words to describe our team's wonderful, jaw-dropping performance at the very peak - the Everest - of world sport.
Let's try ka pai. Or ka rawe which means awesome. This All White team have again showed they are a very, very special team. They keep their shape and hold their nerve whoever the opposition. They do not panic. They pass and dribble whenever they can. But mostly they defend, intelligently and with numbers. They rely on their keeper, the resurgent Mark Paston, who played the game of his life. Like any team on top of their game, the All Whites ride their luck on occasion.
When something goes awry - when, for example, a thoroughbred multimillionaire footballer dives at the slightest tug - they take the resulting penalty on the chin. And they keep holding their shape and their nerve. Rory Fallon, who splays his elbows when he jumps, was targeted to particular effect. The referee fell for it all, including the wretched piece of theatrics that brought Italy its first-half equaliser.
It was an abysmal performance from the official. First, the Italians were poor, not by their own design, but because they were never allowed to settle or dominate.
The world champions lack attacking grunt and were out-boxed. But it really came down to an outstanding effort from a well-drilled New Zealand side who, against all evidence and apparent good sense, truly believe they can foot it against the best.Everyone there is just fantastic.

Yes No Share on Facebook Share on Twitter I was in and out in the time promised. We tried to go through traditional banks and private lenders, and unfortunately the experience was very hard and the terms were harder. So I called Credibly, and within two days I was able to get the funds that I needed.
We were able to improve our business and the process was very, very easy. With Credibly, it was awesome. Every question got answered, there was no red tape, it was straight to the factsthey understand small business.Booked a 10 day self drive tour of Iceland via Nordic Visitor. Nordic Visitor arranged our complete itinery, arranged a hire car, booked hotels, mapped our route, arranged a pick up from the airport.
The hotels were great, travel connections were flawless and the provided map and instructions were accurate and easily followed. All in all the holiday of a lifetime, without any worries This was the first time I booked a vacation with a tour company I found by internet research and not from a friend or trusted source. If you are on Trip Advisor as I was reading the reviews before booking - believe the glowing remarks - Nordic Visitor is terrific. It was a pleasure hearing her stories of Icelandic culture and history.
The hotels were pleasant - not luxurious but I wasn't expecting luxury on this trip. Each hotel had its own unique qualities. The food throughout the trip was superb. I am a research addict, which is why I love this site. But I was getting overwhelmed with all of our options for places to stay and what we should do. So after researching travel agents, we booked with Nordic Visitor.
I am so glad that we did.
All of our transportation was covered and there, and we just showed up to the hotels and it was all set.
They listened to what we wanted (eg: farm guest houses instead of hotels). They answered quickly whenever I had a question, and were very gentle and generous with answering what I am sure were obnoxious questions.
I would use them to book trips again in a heartbeat. The accommodations were incredible, even had the coveted room 202 at the Vik Icelandair Hotel!. My car and GPS were brand new, I was the 2nd person to use the car. It was an amazing trip, and when I come back I will use NV again.
Ka rawe - Diamond Sands Resort
Excellent service from the word 'Go'. At one point on the holiday there was a discrepancy between what was on our voucher and what the hotel thought were the arrangements for the evening meal, but after a quick e-mail from me she sorted it out there and then.
Overall a great holiday experience, we were very pleased that after e-mail discussion with our consultant we changed our preferred vehicle to larger AWD type, in particular when travelling through the ice and snow. We appreciated very much the map with hand written suggestions and all accommodation marked. The written itinerary was an excellent guide. Combined with the GPS supplied meant we did not get lost. We thought the tour was very professionally organised and we had no problems whatsoever and would certainly recommend Nordic Visitor.
However personally we like to travel a little slower and would have liked at least one more 2 night stay in a hotel, as we felt some days seemed too long by the time we got to our accommodation.
